Build a mini-site

What it does

BedFlow ships a built-in mini-site builder for your property. On your own domain root (e.g. lejardindusaloum.net) it renders a clean page with photos, intro text, rooms, facilities, contact info and a prominent "Book now" button that points to the existing booking widget.

No WordPress, no separate hosting, no extra subscription. Edits in the My website page in Filament go live instantly.

Where to find it

Sidebar → Manage → My website

One mini-site per active property. With multiple properties, switch via the top property selector.

Setup in 3 steps

1. Import from an existing website (optional but powerful)

Already have a MyTourist webbuilder site (*.w.mytourist.cloud or a custom domain pointing there)? Click Import from existing website and paste the URL. One click pulls over:

  • Theme color
  • Hero photos (slideshow)
  • Gallery photos
  • Logo + favicon
  • Facilities (categorised with emoji icons)
  • Contact (city, country, phone, email)
  • SEO description

Existing contact fields are NOT overwritten — only empty fields are filled. Photos are ADDED to the existing collection (use Wipe photos to start fresh).

2. Branding + photos

In the Branding section: main color, tagline, logo, favicon. A well-chosen color and a recognisable logo at the top make it instantly yours.

In the Photos section:

  • Hero photos (slideshow) — first photo = large background image. 16:9 or 4:3 ratio works best.
  • Gallery — at the bottom; guests can scroll for atmosphere shots.

Drag photos into the upload zone, click Save. Below each upload zone you see existing photos as a grid with a red × to remove one.

3. Go live

At the top sits the Mini-site active toggle. On = your custom domain root now shows the mini-site. Off = visitors land directly on the booking widget like before.

Preview URLs

Three URLs are always visible:

The preview URL is useful for showing a client "here's how your site will look" before they update their DNS.

SEO built-in

Every mini-site is server-rendered, hence fully crawlable. Out of the box:

  • Open Graph (og:title, og:description, og:image) for nice social previews
  • hreflang per configured language (nl/en/fr/de)
  • Schema.org LodgingBusiness JSON-LD with address, contact, image
  • Canonical URL
  • Meta description you set yourself

Translations

Four languages out of the box: NL, EN, FR, DE. Guests switch via the top bar. The main field (NL) is the fallback for languages where you haven't filled in text yet — so you can start with just NL and expand later.

FAQ

Can I reorder photos? Yes, drag-and-drop in the upload zone during new upload. For existing photos: delete + re-upload in the desired order (reorder for existing photos coming soon).

Does this replace my booking widget? No. The widget stays at /book/{slug} and all CTA buttons on the mini-site link there. So you have both a marketing site (mini-site) and a conversion tool (widget) on the same domain.

How often can I edit? Unlimited. No build step, no deploy. Save = live.

Does the importer work on non-MyTourist sites? Limited. The heuristics are tuned for MyTourist's webbuilder. Wix, Squarespace and custom builds may yield little or nothing. For those cases, fill the fields manually.
